Participants in the Colorado Plasterers and Cement Masons Health Benefit Fund
Due to difficulties with the current insurance provider, the Board of Trustees of your health plan is terminating coverage under your Plan at the end of this month as of May 31 and replacing it as of June 1, 2024 with an opportunity for you and your family to obtain individual or family coverage at the average price level of a Gold level insurance policy under the national health plan exchanges. The Plan has partnered with a company called Venteur to help provide this benefit to you and your family – you will receive emails and other communications from Venteur about this insurance option. (The Plan’s regular administrator, Southwest Service Administrators, will work with you to set up your family’s health insurance coverage under this new arrangement.)
To have health coverage for you and your family as of June 1, 2024, you must immediately contact that Plan’s vendor, Venteur, and select your individual or family’s insurance coverage option so that it is in place before June 1.
Call Venteur 888-851-5602 or Southwest Service Administrators at 800-432-6636 as soon as possible to make your selection for continued coverage. If a coverage selection is not made to allow insurance as of June 1, 2024, and you are eligible for coverage as of July 1, 2024, you will be able to make a selection for coverage effective July 1, 2024.
You also have the right to opt out of this health insurance coverage and not make a selection of insurance coverage. Another notice will be provided to you explaining that right.
